Smith and Wesson Model 916A Question
I have a 12 gauge Eastfield model 916A made by Smith and Wesson in very good condition. The serial number is 8B8455. Can anyone tell me when this was made and how much it might be worth? Thanks

Your shotgun was made in the 1970s and is worth $130-150. 0 -
Yes , 1970's sounds right , I bought one (new) from a "mart" type store in 1978 for $99.00 (sale price $$$)...used it for years as a
basic hunting gun , never a problem , then I went to the Mossberg
500 series line and have used them ever since...

this is the same as the NOBEL pump shot gun, (S&W bought them in the late 60's). basicly a cheap gun, use them until they break then 'parts' them out. 0 -
I have a 916 in 20 ga and the big fault with it is the single action(side?)bar.Lets the forearm wiggle all over the place. But for less than a $100, what can I expect? 0
