Mannlicher
I have a box of ammo for the Mannlicher automatic pistol
made about 1900. I got it about 30 years ago when my dad had
the pistol. The pistol looked kind of like a broomhandle mauser
and had a beautifully simple design when taken apart. The pistol is
long gone and I think the ammo is 30 or 32 cal. I don't have the box in front of me.
Anyway, I was told back then that they quit making the ammo
in 1920. So I am wondering what it would be worth.

I also have a box--7.65mm Mannlicher, I believe, made by FM "Borgia" in Argentina. Sold the pistol long ago. I guess we'll have to wait for one of the antique ammo experts to enlighten us. Pistol was an M1905 Steyr-Mannlicher. Think I might have a stripper clip also. 0 -
Also would like to know what the price of the pistol might be
today.

Eric & Mtn Hunter, if you wish to post / send me dimensions, headstamps (&, ideally, photos) so I can ID the rounds precisely, I should be able to give you an idea of the value. There are several flavors of 7.65 Mannlicher. Some of the obscure ones are worth $5 - $25 a round in excellent condition. Will not be able to respond immediately . . . leaving shortly for several days / weeks & while I'll be back to check mail etc., likely won't have much time for 'projects.' 0
