Colt model R6600 AR-15 questions

I walked into a dealer today and he has on his rack a Colt AR-15 in like new condition, with four mags and the original box. It does not have the raised fence around the mag release. It is a model R6600K. Does anyone know the value of this rifle? It has the Colt factory flash hider, no bayonet lug and no sear block in the lower receiver.
He wants $1199 for it. Is it worth it? Does the lack of raised fence around the mag release mean anything? Serial SP245***. On the receiver its marked COLT AR-15 A2 H-Bar Sporter.
