Gunvault 1000 / Deluxe or standard?
Looking for a safe secure method of keeping a bedside firearm. Seems as if Gunvault1000 would fit the bill. However, just saw a dealer, on his auction infer to stay away from the deluxe model. He also said to call him as to why, and I will if someone out there does not know what he is talking about. Your opinion is appreciated.

Unless the Gunvault people have added models to the line, I am aware of two models. The one gun model and the two gun model. The works are the same. Get the one that suits your needs.
There is a promotional model that was made for and sold by another firm, but I forget the name. It is probably not as good as the original, since it is a lot cheaper.
I use a GV1000 mini every day, and find it a good thing.
