Ruger dealers in the Jacksonville, FL area
I'm going to be visiting the Jacksonville, FL area in a couple of weeks and I was interested in going to some gun shops, specifically Ruger dealers. Despite checking the website and calling them directly, Ruger was no help at all. Anyone who knows of any Ruger dealer in this area or surrounding ones, would be much appreciated.

Look up Green Acres and see if they is still in bidness. Damn fine store if it is.

Green Acres is expensive for most products but it is the largest store in Jax. They do have a used PC-9 for $339. used. Thats a good deal if in good condition. I also know of a Pawn shop run by two chain smoking old ladies that have a milk crate full of P-Series.
Let me know what you are looking for and I will try to direct you to what I think is the best place. Personally I like St.Nicholas Gun Store (there are two of them, nice people).

A PC-9 is exactly what I'm looking for. For that price, if it looks good, that bad boy's comin' home with me if it's till there by the time I get there. There's a 3-day wait in FL isn't there?

Well, I'm back and the Ruger came with me. Thanks to all who steered me toward Green Arces. It was in really nice shape, RugerNiner & came with box, papers & cable lock too.

I just ordered a PC-9 with Ghost Sights for $479. from St. Nicholas.
Did yours have rifle sights or Ghost Sights?
Did they sell it to you for $339. or was that just for the BBQ sale?

When I first saw the gun they were having a sale with a Country Radio Station and BBQ dinners and give aways.
I thought may be the price on the gun might have been for that day only. I'm glad you got it. Mine is on order because of getting the Ghost Sights and I might have to put it on layaway for awile. I just got ripped of for $1,200. doing construction.
Let me know how you like it. I found a place yesterday that has used Hi-Cap factory mags for $45. on the internet. If interested I'll get you the Website.

Thanks for the site, Ruger, I will definitely check it out. I figured $339 was a hell of a price considering my local shop wanted $575 to order me one and another has had a PC-4 for some time for $400. Shops around here just don't stock stuff like that, I guess.

Well since the good Captain hasn't locked us yet, I'll throw in this:
I shot it yesterday at a local range and I love it. It fed Winchester, Wolf and Silver Bear without so much as a hiccup. Pretty accurate too. Although I was only shooting 25 yds (range limitation).
An all around fun gun.
