Jennings J-22
A "friend" of my father-in-law gave him a Jennings J-22, in pieces. Where can I find info or a diagram to put the thing back together?

I have to agree with you He Dog, but I have one I paid $39.99 for new and I am surprised how well the thing shoots and cycles. Would I trust my life with it? Probably not, but it is a fun little plinker. I figure that I've probably put two hundred or so rounds through it so I guess I should retire it. Zinc only last so long. 0 -
Put a string through the trigger guard and throw it overboard to use as an anchor. That is about all it is good for. I have one and it is a lousy shooting gun.

Jennings pistols in whatever caliber are great pocket pistols-just don't let it leave the pocket! Maybe you can reassemble that and swap it for an Iver Johnson TP22-maybe even without having to pay extra!

What do you expect for $10 bucks, a Ruger??
All in all, they're not too bad for the money. I have one I used to carry in my back pocket while hunting. Comes in handy once in a while.
Now I've upgraded to a Walther TPH Stainless. Quite a difference.

My guess on why it's in pieces:
It blew apart during last shot. This is not a joke, it has happened to me and others as I recall on past posts. Probably best to keep it in pieces so no one gets hurt.

I believe that reb8600 overstated its value-i'd put it more in the line of a sinker. Have tried to get one to shoot properly for over 10 years-I belive this to be a lost cause. 0
