22cal rifles?

I've heard that remington 597s have feeding problems. Can anyone verify this? If so what other 22cal rifle that is mag fed and semi auto will do?

  jjce11, We just talked about this here recently, Look back in the help forums here and you may find your answers.
  
  Go back to about page 4 and look for a forum called: Which of these 2 .22 rifles ?

  Ruger 10/22 I just bought one here the other day on all the reccomendations for it I got here and I love it so far.First day I had it I sht 2 500 round bricks and only had 1 prolem where the shell didnt extract all the way and that was on the second brick so it was probably just build up.Great little .22 from what I see so far.The hi-cap mags are pretty exspensive from what I see though.But I paid $139.00 for mine new in box from Academy Sporting Goods.Good Deal I think.
