Changing barrels on Remington 11-87 question

Is there a difference between a "Premier" barrel and a "Special Purpose" barrel for the 11-87 model? Are they ALL interchangeable?

If I knew then, what I know now.

  same barrel, different finish. Be sure that if the SP barrel is 3" or 3 1/2", that your original action will handle or eject those length shells.
