They are good safes for the money. Shop around for price comparisons and factor in if they inclued delivery and setup. Some places charge over $100 for delivery and setup. Also, 23 gun capacity really means about 15.

The above post says it all Delivery and set up isnt included in your safe price.Make sure you ask about that with any safe.Another helpfull tip is have you seen those things advertise on TV where you stick these little flat things under heavy appliances and they young lady moves extremely heavy furniture, then it goes on to show her turn a car completely around in a room.I bought some but I cant think of what there called. They come in a set of four, car Dealerships have used them for years. They mad installing both of my safes a piece of cake once we got them inside.

    Best!!

I agree w/ the other two posts that Champion is good. Though I don't think the price is anything special unless the free dri rod is a big ticket item. I saw the same safe at a gunshow two weeks ago also for $699 so my impression is that that was roughtly a normal asking price.

Take your time and really shop around, I found the big sales usually jack up the delivery price. The more sales men/women you talk to, the more you learn about fire protection, construction, hinges, ect. Then hold out for the next big gun show. I got mine for a good deal, delivery was included since I lived on his way out of town, and since he was a vendor from out of state, there was no sales tax. I bought a larger safe than what I was shopping for, and its starting to get full, don't get too small of a safe to save a buck. Good luck shopping.
