The Russian gun seems to be the best one I have ever fired. It just seems more solid, and hey, they invented the thing, right? They ought to know how to build it!

The Russian is the best. I also purchased a few NIB when they
were available. The Chinese are the worst..........after many
slam fires I sold my one Chinese SKS.

Buy the Russian; but, get the one that, will accept the mag.
AK Magazine, it is a lot faster, than fumbling with the
SKS detachable mag.0 -
This is my experience only, I have them all. Russian first, Chinese with machine receiver second, some Yugoslavian third, Romanian is next. By the way mine Chinese outshoots Russian. 0 -
I'm not seeing the Romanian's in shotgun news anymore, are they sold out, or just not advertising them anymore?
