What do you think about buying the Olympic .223 Plinker and then buying the free floating heavy stainless barrel upper for it. Do you think that would be a good investment?

  Ok I know little to nothing about AR's. So here is my question. I am looking at a Colt shorty that has the removeable handle to make it a flat top. My question is this, how do I get the front post and sight out of my way to put on a scope on the rail? Thank you for all help.

  Need to know if gun is pre-ban or post ban.I could have gotten a Colt post ban for around $900.00 about 1 year ago when I bought my Bushmaster ar-15.Pre-ban will be much higher in price.

  Tompy,me again.Go to ar-15.com and look under colt,I believe it gives serial numbers of colt ar-15 and when your gun was manufactured.It can get complicated on whether a gun is pre-ban and post-ban,this web site might help.I hope this is the right web site.
