S&W 651 22/22 mag value
I am unable to find a current value for the S&W 651 in stainless steel like new in box, with the 22 LR cylinder. apparently very few of these cylinders were made and are quite valuable. Has anyone seen one for sale with the extra cylidner, and know the value? thanks,davek@sisqtel.net

Iz this the 2nd or 3rd time you have posted this question? AND since no one has answered I will solve the problem. It is apparent there is no interest in this model, regardlss of the fact that it is stainlss, has both the 22 and 22-mag cylinders and is a discontiuned model. AND with both cylinders, this makes it even more unique...

Since this question has had no answer's or credible answer's in quite awhile, the obvious solution is to send it to me!!! I'm probably just gonna use it for a paper weight, this way it'll be outta your way, outta your hair and you won't have to ask this question again in 14 days....LOL... :>)
Azz to a value, I saw one on auction awhile back for 5+ C-notes and I do not think the seller even got a nibble..this is just a guess though. Sometimes Seller's think that just cuzz 100,00 people might see his auction in single nite that they'll get their price even if it is marked WAY up... Once a buyer figger's in shipping and insurances fee's and transfer fee's and compare's those cost's to the same item locally with tax then the question becomes is the difference in cost worth waiting when I can buy it today and walk out with it today?
I have NEVER found the auction price's to be significantly higher or lower than what is on the shelf in a local g-shop here in my town! But when comes to 'hard to find' stuff the auction site is a wonderful place for the un-usual 'thing' or that 'hard to find' item.
I am just venturing a guess but I suspect the majority of buying and selling on this site is between FFL holders who have a customer looking for this or that...just a quess...
In closing do you want my address so azzz you'll know where to send my new paper weight?

Here is one(Item #4845859) of those hard to find items and the seller has a price which....well...to say it politely is abit too high, actually quite abit. But ya know what...ya just never know! The other auction for a same model, check out DuckHunters selling number, well he carries really nice "hard to find stuff", you won't find his stuff in a gun shop. Even with his gimp and lisp and blindness he is a great salesman(heheheheeee Duckhunter)just kidding no gimp, no lisp and he is not blind...but he wear's the BRIGHTEST ORANGE SHIRT ya ever saw at every gun show(I don't think it's the same one(HMMMMM)...wonder if he'd sell that shirt just so it won't hurt my eyes next time I see him...and I will...probably soon... 0 -
