I have a Thompson Center rifle barrel in .375 JDJ for a G2 contender with a wood stock. The barrel has never been fired. What would it be worth?

Model 88 LEVER ACTION SPORTING RIFLE: Made from 1955 to 1975..Ending Serial Number is 284971.
Prefix 'H' before serial numbers after 1970 discontinued 1975. Parts clean up in 1976, and a few hundred guns assembled. Records for 1955-1961 have been lost. Production figures are estimates by Winchester. As for Value...In Excellent Condition my data base shows $350.00....Best........

Carbine or rifle, pre 64 or post 64. These make a big difference is price.

I guess it is a carbine. I am told it has a 19" barrel. That is about all I know. Bshooter

Captain,I'd like to buy about ten or a dozen for the price you mention.Did you look up the right gun ? Your database may be off.

Carbine was started in 1968. So we now know it's a post 64. The plus side carbine is more desirable than the rifle. Real nice original ones, I've seen sell for 600-750. Used beat up and hunted with for thirty years, anywhere from 400-600.

Just realize that the gun is not that good [600-750] but gets most of its value due to collector interest and the winchester name....
