Winchester 57 stock
Will the mod.69 stock fit on this. Any other?

You got me curious, so I just looked at my model 56 and my early 69 together. It appears that it would work. The magazine base plate screw on the 56 is in the same place as the takedown screw on the 69. The receivers and barrels appear to be the same shape and diameter size. The mag wells and the mag releases are in the same place. I didn't physically try to swap them, but it appears it would work. There would be enough wood on the 69 stock to reshape to the 56 or 57 configuration. Interesting.
