Anyone know anything about a Weatherby

A weatherby Vanguard? I am thinking about purchasing one. They are very reasonable price at the gunshop? I was thinking about a 7mm rem mag. Let me know your perspective on these rifles. Thanks

  The Vanguard was built for Weatherby by Howa in Japan. They are decent economical rifles. The action is well designed and well made. It should give you good service and the price should be pretty reasonable as these were not high-end Weatherby's.

  HE DOG said it like it is,I have one Ive had pretty good service for the money.Mine is accurate and seems well built.I would recommend it to anyone,however I dont feel the same about the Weatherby calibers.

  i've got one in .308. have had it for years w/o any problems. with a little care the gun will outlast your children. good gun for the money.
