Smith 457?

I am still on the market for a CCW gun.I had to pay alot of moey to get my son in pee-wee league football and by the time I had enough the Glock 29 I was wanting was gone.The same shop has a Smith & Wesson 457 .45acp for $375.00 the Glock was $425.00 so If its as good its mine.Does anybody here have one of these?If so how is the reliability on these guns?Also is that a good price?It is slighly used with 4 mags.Thanks fellas.

  I had a 457 and it was a good reliable gun,but it had that big clunky feel that most Smith autos have.

  Thats not a bad deal, especially with the four mags. They (the 457's) are reliable, easy to carry pistols.

  I would condider buying a sw40ve Sigma,there very reliable and not as bulky as some of the other S&Ws.IF its a S&W as bad as I hate to say it you usually cant go wrong.What did you do with the Sig P239 you bought,and was having trouble with.I know you were considering sending it back?

  I sent that sucker back!I got a full re-fund and went ahead with the 457.Thats how I ended up wth soe extra $$ for a mess around .22 rifle.Are the Sigma's really good?I have heard more than a few bad things about them.
