I came across a safe queen MKV Varmintmaster in 22-250. The gun is in absolute %98 condition and supposedly belonged to a dealer and this gun was a dealer sample. It looks like he mounted a scope then put it away, never shot it and traded it in. It has older type Redfield bases. The gun is a made in Japan gun and has beautiful wood and blueing. The Serial number is SO (letter O), or S0(number zero) 70XX.

What is the approximate age and value of the gun? The asking price is $850 without a scope.

  I don't the age but a new one would be over $1200

  $850 is a great price for a MKV Deluxe in exc. condition, especially if it has a 26" barrel...
