Most Accurate "Out of the Box" 9mm
Many folks note the Sig P-210 is the most accurate "out of the box" 9mm autoloader. Can this still be true, considering technological advances of late?
Thanks

Regretfully, it is.
Any thoughts on the 9mm inquiry, Lee?

Not with them triggers... You have to spend alot of money to get a Ruger to shoot as accurate as a high point... Oops..did I say that...

Hi,
Interesting thread. Where did all the answers go?
Anyway, I will put in my two cents worth.
Reading indicates the Sigs are hard to beat for out of box accuracy in 9mm. The HK USP has glowing reviews for accuracy. A tuned 1911 is said to shoot well.
I own an older P-85 Ruger auto. It is accurate for the type of pistol it is. With ammo it likes it will go about 2.5" at 25 yards. And that is "white and yellow box" stuff.
Now for the flame...I personally don't see the 9mm as a big accuracy answer. To me it is a "practical" cartridge and good for the action sports where fine accuracy is required. As far as design it is efficient. If I need a really accurate pistol I grab one of the pistols chambered in an established accuracy cartridge.
Just my outlook on things. Good luck in your search.

I tell you, I've fired a factory 1911 in 9mm, don't remember what brand it was so long ago, but it was very accurate, and had no recoil what so ever it seemed like.
