Tacstar Shotgun Accessories???
Hey all....Planning on getting a winchester 1300 defender for myself from santa for christmas, I would like to put a side saddle on it and tacstar seems to be the ticket. But how are they attached onto the receiver...I see only one pin on a win. 1300 receiver that could be utilized for mounting....how else is it held on? and... is it sturdy and worth it??? or should i just get the elastic kind that goes on the buttstock?
Thanks
Kaddy

In addition to using the one cross pin that holds the trigger group, it also uses a claw or clamp into the loading gate area. Thus giving it two points of contact. This is on the Winchester 1300, the Mossberg and Remington, are done differently. 0 -
I have a 1300 speed pump with the side saddle on it,I bought it from a buddy that had never shot it.Mine has the Pistol grip,I was going to put a stock on it but I have enough Mossbergs to fill that slate and one Remington. But Ive never had a problem with the side saddle.
Best!!

I have a winchester 1300 defender myself. U made a good choice on using tac-star products. Like they reply to u before the side saddle goes through the trigger system and have a clamp on by the side of the gate were u load your shells.
Something i want to remind u its to glue those little pesky screws (6) on the saddle. They get to "dissapear" when less expect it.
I have everything from them. I have the pistol grip and the forend pistol grip, the heatshield, the side saddle, the pistol buttstock and the sling.
I have a couple of pics if u want to check how it looks with their different attachments. E-MAIL me if u wanna see it. It looks criminal
HAil!!
