    Thanks for the great info and quick responses. You were all helpfull, as usual. I figured $700 was a bit high, but I didn't know it was that high. Guess I won't be buying it.

    The configuration and extras will determine the value. Rifle or carbine? Magazine length, barrel length and style, pistol grip?, caliber, sights,? There are many things to look for in Winchesters.
    Usually 94's are not really desireable (not at high prices anyway) unless they have some unique configuration.
