I have a regular Fobus belt holster for my Glock 22 and love it. I have just about stopped using leather holsters and I have bought the Fobus holsters for several guns. I have not tried the roto style. because I have been happy with the standard position. I prefer the belt over the paddle style because I find it to be more comfortable.

Let me put you on track for a dream Holster for that Model 22 Its the Bianchi Model 7 lined holster. They are the best Glock Holster there is.I own every caliber the Glock makes and their all full size except for a Model 23,and I dont have the Model 20 10mm.I want to make certain its going to survive. But back to the Holsters the model 7 lined will not put holster wear on your gun I dont care how much you carry it.Or the plain Model 7 is jusr as good I have a mix of the two.Midway USA has them for $39.99 for the plain model 7.There no. is 1-800-243-3220 its pre molded to fit the gun you order it for it truly is a great Holster.I think the unlined is very smoothe on the inside and will protect your gun just as well. Its availiable in Brown,or Black.I have expensive holsters such as Kramer,Don Hume Galco and Gould and Goodrich. But the Bianchi is my favorite. If you buy one let me know how you like it.

    Best!!

Try Bianchi's line. They make the best, imho.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

Don Hume and G&G expensive? I thought they were reasonable for a decent boned leather holster. For the plastics I like the Uncle Mikes Kydex construction better than the Fobus and still less than $20 for either the paddle or belt.

I personally was never a real big fan of Uncle Mike's holsters. I mean their great at first, but they just don't last. I've had an Uncle Mike Nylon Triple Retention Duty Holster for my Glock since January, and its already torn up. Actually almost all the uncle mike nylon on my rig is starting to show wear, but all the Bianchi accumold stuff is holding up just fine.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

I agree with you on the nylon. I was talking about their Kydex. Most of their Old World Leather division is also decent for leather holsters. Not talking about duty wear though. Thought we were talking about carry holsters.

Oops, sorry. I haven't tried their kydex stuff yet.

Doesn't glock have factory kydex holsters for pretty cheap. I think I've seen them in a cheaper than dirt catalog.

Have purchased and used a Fobus for a short time. Did not like and it's in a box or possibly in the trash. A Safariland Model 2398, 560-83 Glock, gets my vote. Do not carry my G22 on a daily basis, but when I do It's normally in the Safariland Model 2398. It's a pancake style holster that you can adjust angle of carry and drawing tension.

i tried the fobus roto holster, but my glock printed its outline with it unlike the original fobus.

Glock does make a factory holster for its guns...but it leaves holster wear on your weapon and has poor retention. It fits really close to your body but shows its outline anyway. The only benefit of the Glock holster is the price, but if you want my opinion, invest in something that is a little more expensive- you usually get what you pay for.
