Can't move safety off fire pos. any info.appreciated.

  I HAVE TAKEN THIS BOLT APART AND I CAN GET IT ON SAFE
  BUT ONCE IT IS FIRED AND COCKED AGAIN IT LOCKS UP AGAIN.
  THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

  The safety must be in the 12o,clock position before removal. Try this link www.bobtuley.com/mauser/ It's for an M-48, but I believe it is the same as the Argie and the 98k.

  If someone has stoned the sear / cocking lug to much, the safety may no longer be able to easaly enter it's notch in the striker
