Savage Model 10

This isn't easy guys, but how do I remove the bolt from this rifle? I see the small lever on the right side of the reciever, but it doesn't seem to do anything. No wonder that I usually only ask questions here and not respond to them!

  I HAVE A HEAVY BARREL 308 AND WOULD LIKE TO SWITCH BACK AND FORTH WITH .223OR OTHER SHOULD I BE ABLE TO JUST SCREW IN OTHER BARREL THANKS

  You have to pull the trigger then the little handle will work and you can slide the bolt out.
