Check your mag release, specifically the spring of the mag release. If it is missing, bent, dislodged from its correct position, or just weak, the jolt from firing the gun will allow the release lever to to move rearward, thus allowing the mag to fall out. 0 -
Your mag catch may be wore down some if you have used it alot. This is not common,as the AMTs are good guns. The factory is being auctioned off so you cant send it to the factory.Maybe someone will buy it and still make quality arms. You may have to let a gun smith fix it,I believe you said it done it even with new mags.So its either your mag release or,Mag catch worn out.It wont cost much to fix it.
Good Luck!!

It did get that way after a cleaning. 0 -
Maybe you dislodged or misaligned the spring that puts tension on the mag release at the base of the grip?

Check your mag catch without the magazine in the gun. Does it have any tension or enough tension to hold the mag in? My bet is that the spring got knocked out of alignment or got knocked out of the gun entirely during cleaning. A replacement could be made from basic spring stock of the same size and tension. 0
