I am ready to replace the plastic trigger in my 91 commander. Will a GI trigger drop in?

    I do most of my own 45 work but not the trigger and sear stuff since I don't have the jigs.
    I left TWO Commanders I am working on at my Smiths over lunch today.
    He will use the same trigger,but work the sear,spring,hammer.
    These are for my daughters.

    You can't go wrong with Videcki triggers, unlike some sold by companys with a big name shooter fronting for them, the Videcki is made of good tempered steel and aluminum, I have had several of the "Name" triggers and My Gunsmith showed Me the problem with non tempered steel he had me put some pressure on the bow of a W..... and it just folded like a gum wrapper, soft as putty, the gunsmith says this causes problems with the sear and disconnector and an inconsistent trigger pull.

    Thanks for the help. I will order Brownells catalog and see what they have. The Videcki sounds good. I will probably replace the mainspring housing at the same time. I surely do like this gun.
