    Wasnt that the first revolver to have a cylinder that moved forward to meet the barrel for a positive seal to up velocity?

    I do know one thing about them though.That is one UGLY revolver.

    They are the ones where the cylinder slides forward and seals the gap. The Ammo is self contained.

    They started production in 1895 and ended in 1945. Many of them were made during WWII. There have been thousands of them imported in the last 10 years. Russian surplus ammo was once available, now there is only the fiocchi and it is hard to find, not to mention reasonably expensive. There have been conversion caliber cylinders available to use .32acp. There have been other conversions as well, but some were considered to be unsafe. They are a seven shot. Most of them have been refinished prior to coming into the US. Their trigger pulls are not the best, but they are an interesting concept and design.

    And they are fun and a good bargain, but dont pay more than 150 for one in excellent shape.
    32 ACP conversion cylinders are available, but most who dont buy the Fiocchi just use .32S&W long ammo.
