yes i have and have had no luck i was hopeing there might be a place who sells replica`s and could get one thru them or find some one who has a set of them and wants to sell 0 -
Lostsoul- I do not have a remington shotgun, and am not familiar with everything about them-but I checked some catalogs, and it appears that Remington shotguns(870,11-87, 1100) all use the same tubes. You should be able to buy the tubes from cabelas, bass pro, etc. I do not think they should be to hard to find.
I just checked www.duffysoutdoors.com , and they have them in stock.
If you are looking for one or a set from someone who uses this sight, then you should put a post in the "help wanted" section of this site.
Hope this helps.

ok let me explain a poly choke tube they do not screw in the barrle they screw on the out side of it there is a big difereance in tubes ones we are used to today wont fit it cause the threads are on the out side of the barrle that is why im trying to a find a set of them if it was a screw in the barrle type i could order them from my local gun dealer shop 0 -
I thought that might be the situation, but I thought it might be a vernacular thing. I refer to my Mossberg and shotguns as "poly choke", when in fact "accu choke" would be an accurate description.

Hey Lostsoul, the Poly-Chokes that I'm familiar with don't use tubes. They have an external sleeve that you twist to change the choke (something like a water hose) and the degree of choke is indicated on that sleeve. Might you be asking about a Cutts Compensator which uses external tubes which screw into the body of the device? This device has a slotted tube, silver soldered to the barrel and the choke tube screws into it. These gadgets were very popular with skeet shooters years ago because they also provided considerable recoil reduction.
Hope this helps.0 -
thats it right there do you know of any one who still carrys these or might have some for sale that i can get any help would be great or a catalog of replacemnt ones that look like the originals would be a plus to 0 -
I see alot of the adjustable ones at the gun shows in my area, sometimes I see the tubes also. I just bought an adjustable one and put it on my shortend NEF 12ga. It is a threaded unit that cleaned up the end of the barrel. It looks pretty good, swings nice, and throws a decent pattern for a 22 inch barrel. It only cost $5.00 at the show. It shoots a slug pretty well too.
Thanks, Grizztribefans@sssnet.com0 -
Numrich gun parts catalog, listed on page 1039 is the "Polychoke adjustable choke caps" I think this is what you are looking for. Listed for $8.95. They have a web site www.gunpartscorp.com good luck. 0 -
Lostsoul-- Brownell's catalog lists several of the tubes (new) in 12 gauge. You can check out their catalog on-line at brownells.com. These units were available in 12, 16, 20 ,28 and .410 gauges years ago and may still be. I think that if you put a query in the "want ads" forum on this site you'll get quite a few responses. Or, if you can find an old skeet shooter in your area, you might find some locally. I suspect that GunParts Corp. has some too. In 12 gauge they
came in Spreader, Imp.Cyl., Mod., Full, and super-full.
Good Luck0
