The Tactical Entry Model has the short fixed buttstock on it, if I'm correct about that model. The whole idea behind a short butstock is for shooting with layers of gear on like a tactical vest or flack jacket. I personally think it would be a little uncomfortable to shoot normally, but thats just my opinion. If you can't get a retractable stock, then stay with a full size fixed, unless you need a special application shorter stock.
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

The short entry stock is easy to get used to. You don't have to have the weapon shouldered solid to get the same sight picture with your nose on the charging handle. 0 -
I personally always thought one of those little 7 1/2" pistol barrel uppers with the front sight and Weaver rear, a 4 position select fire M16 reciever, and one of those little entry buttstocks would make an ideal submachinegun, perfect and compact for entry or concealment, with the .223rem cartridge.
