In the 80s' I had Millet adj.sights put on the rear and a glo orange insert on Ft of a high power, the white marking is out of the right half of the rear site, will model plane paint work?

My advice would be to try different colors for your shooting enviroment.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

I ordered a kit. Any recommendations as to best color for all around use. I'm leaning towards green, red or white in that order. I have front sights that have one of these, but I'm not partial to any. I do seem to have more guns with a white dot front sight. If I go with green, I might outline the rear sight with orange for contrast--with the others I'm just going to leave the rear sight well enough alone.

From what I've read, Red and Yellow are the two colors the human eye recognizes the fastest. Yellow is kinda soft to me when shooting on a white background, so I'd advise using either red or neon orange.

I always used florescent orange on my sights, worked even in low light situations..find it at any hobby shop for less than a dollar.

As it turns out, I did go with some orange on the front sight and it is like night and day shooting with it. Still not quite up to my SIG P226, but my hits are almost all 8-10 ringers now
