Sell AR15 from California?
I have a nice Olympic AR15 in new shape I would like to sell. I live in California and bought it here pre-ban, and I know I can't sell it here, but can I sell it on the auction if the bidder is out of state?
If I can, what should I ask for it? It's .223, has a 20" heavy barrel with a muzzle brake, has had fewer than 100 rounds through it. Comes with the case, a 10rd. clip, two GI teflon coated 30rd. clips, and one 30rd. thermold clip.
Thanks for any help out there!

LTS: Why does it have to go thru a dealer on his end? I know it must be shipped to a dealer but non FFL's can ship to a FFL unless it has something to do with his living in kal or because its a pre-ban? 0 -
If it is a legally registered weapon in California I sure would hate to see it leave the state. Simple fact that the state banned them would be enough reason for me to keep it and show it off every chance I had. Be a cool way to say F U to anyone who doesn't like those evil AR's in Calif. 0 -
LTS: I get it now, thanks!!! 0 -
Cal law requires transfers of assault weapons to be conducted through California licensed assault weapons dealers. I believe the main reason for this was so that weapons sent out of state for repair would have a chain of custody so that they could be legally sent back to California. You can transfer to another dealer out of California if the transfer is conducted through a California assault weapons dealer. 0 -
I have FFL and can receive it and I don't mind breaking a Kali law to receive it.
