These were made at the end of the SW40V series, right before they went to the "VE" series. They were approximately the same price as a standard "V" at the time. There were a limited number of them produced. As for their value today, they should bring a higher price from some one that finds them of interest. As for an actual blue book value, I don't think that you'll find one.

They were kind of neat looking.

i was wondering if 400.00 would be to much for one?

According to most SIGMA owners that I have known....they are nothing but pure JUNK. IMHO $1.00 is too much to pay for a SIGMA.

    I love S&W revolvers...and some semi-autos; but I would never spend a cent on a Sigma.

Whenever Sigmas come up for discussion, the opinions vary. There are always the extreme views as expressed here about the Sigmas being junk, etc.. Then there are usually some owners who find them satisfactory or superior. I wonder if the critics have any first-hand knowledge or experience with the Sigmas?

I have a very early Sigma in .40, and find it a great gun to shoot. It points as well as any pistol I have handled, and better than most. Mine has been reliable, although my round count is not high. The grip shape is wonderful.

While a Sigma probably will not match a Glock for durability and reliability under extreme conditions, the Sigma was designed with the Glock as the target standard to be met.

I much prefer the Sigma to the Glock for shooting and pointing.

    Next.

greetings, i have owned three, sw9f, sw40v and sw40c. they do feel good in hand, and they do point better than the glock 17 , ithink it is because of the 12 degree handle to slide over the glock 17's 17 degree h to s. but the sw9f was prone to jam as was the 40c but not as often, ifound they all seem to be ammo specific,ie,i mean what ever you type you start with you should stay with. the 40v broke two firing pins. hense 400 i believe to be way over priced. whould i buy another? i make a habit never to say never and always to avoid always. 250 tops and not as primary weapon. respt submitted dads-freehold a fronte praecipitium a tergo lupi

I recently purchased a sigma 40ve. This gun has proven to be a fun gun to shoot and as accurate as several guns twice the price. My round count is ~500. Keep in mind the .40 wasn't made to be a match shooting round. If I had it to do over again I would have bought my sigma sooner.

    Dad's,
Appears your switch is on the "three round burst".
Try and select semi.....101 Nothing negative intended.
