Help Picking Rings & Bases
I have a Tikka & need help with the rings & bases.I will be mounting a Zeiss scope & don't want any junk rings.They say that the Sako Optilock & Tikka Optilock rings & bases are junk.Is that true?Please point me in the right direction. Thanks.......Hunter

I also have a Tikka Rifle but I used weaver bases and mounts.I won the gun and it was already set up with weaver bases and mounts. It has a 3x9x40mm scope and so far it all has worked well.

The better scope rings and bases would be Conetrol, Dave Talley, Warne. or SK.....here are some links to check out...

I used Leupold dual-dovetail bases and rings on my Steyr and the are rock-solid... 0 -

Whoever said Sako, and Tikka's Optilock rings, "are junk", has very little experience (if any at all) with them, and/or has trouble talking when sitting down. There's a point built in there.
They are one of the strongest and best designs available.
They are a take off of the Burris Signature rings without a patent infringement. See Burris web site for general info.
Don't hesitate to use them.
