Remington 22 Autoloadinig cartridges
I have a number of boxes of 22 Remington Autoloading cartridges which have been packed away for at least 40 years. The boxes are all in excellent condition, the brass is clean, the lead has some white oxide. There is one box that is yellow and blue labeled Peters, the rest are green and red labeled Remington Kleanbore. Do they have any value?

I am shooting the last 1500 of a 1960's 5000 lot. All work flawlessly. I doubt they have any collector value as I noticed some question on them a while back and there was no interest. They are a nice low noise shooter round. Best, Robert

I think that you will find they have much more value than you think.I would check out some web-sites before you sell, or use them up. That's just my advise.

Anyone want to make me an offer? Let me know! I plan to shoot them up, or sell cheap so as to purchase more .22 ammo. Best, Robert

i'd be interested too! thanks don dhogan49@slic.com 0 -
If in excellent condition, these boxes might have more value as collectibles than as shooters. It would depend on the box type and the condition, but the Peters could auction as high as $40 and the Remington from $12 to $25 each. Decent shooting ammo in poor to fair plus boxes typically runs around $10 a box.
