10 Gauge Ammo

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a place to find some cheap priced 10 gauge ammo. I don't need anything special, just plinking around up north at some targets. Just got it but don't plan on doing any hunting, etc. I went to cheaperthandirt and everything was kind of expensive for what I plan on using it for. Thanks much.

  Im not certain that its going to be any cheaper but try Natchez Shooters Supply on the internet. Most ten gauge ammo I have, and see around is made by only a couple of manufactures. If you reload your ammo you are going to save alot of money on those 10Ga shells.

  I agree with rugster, if you are going to alot get a reloader, I have even seen a conversion for my rockchucker to shot shell. I have a bps in 10 but, it only gets used for hunting so I only buy the high velocity stuff. Gota love the 10.

  [:)]have you ever heard of the sportsmansguide.com,i bought 10gauge shells there for only $8.79 abox.you have to join there club for only $29.99 a year.but its worth it.its steel shot by remington it comes in shot sizes=T,BBB,2 shot.also 25 round boxes.i own a ithaca mag 10 and a browning BPS 10 gauge as well as a NEF 10 gauge single shot.

  Just a note, you do not have to join the "club", but if you buy a few boxes of shells like this and a few other odds and ends(I never buy only just what I need...HA), it usually more than pays for the freight.

  As someone who uses the 10ga on waterfowl, I'm kinda mystified that you are going to "plink targets" with this cannon? I know this may sound like a wiseazz commment, but mygod, are you into S/M or something? If I didn't have a bunch of money invested in my shotgun and steel shot, I'd go back to a 12 with the newer non-toxic loads rather than get beat on . . . and I only do this for hunting, not for fun?
