Camo gun socks

I am thinking about using a gun sock to cover up the Stainless steel of a browing A Bolt. How well do gun socks work on rifles? Do they stay in place? thanks

  The only trouble with them I have ever had is hunting in a very thick place. I find they snag,but for still hunting they are great. Just dont leave your firearm in the sock as it can draw moisture and rust.
