SA to DA....
A buddy at work asked me last night if it was possible to change a single action revolver to a dual action. Not having or knowing an answer, I leave it to those of you here who might have an answer.

I am certainly not the one to answer this in detail but some of the other guys will correct me if Im wrong. NO dont do it dont even consider it. You can buy a good double action pistol for less than you could make this conversion, that is if it can be done. It would also void any warranty the manufacture has given you. One of the Gun smiths will probably give you a more detailed answer. Hope this helps. Ill be watching to see if I can learn something myself.

This is a solution in search of a problem. Just buy a DA revolver. Redesigning something to perform an action that was never intended begs for trouble.
