M1A M-14 parts
I am looking for the buttplate cover, buttplate screws, buttplate cover spring, pin, and bearing (at least I think it used a bearing). Rear sling metal (loop)?. In other words, everything for the butt of the rifle but the buttplate itself.
Where do you guys think is the best price to buy this stuff?
Thanks
Eric

You can try gun shows, there are usually people selling M-1A parts. If you want new, call Springfield Armory, they are the leaders in parts for that rifle. If you get a copy of Shotgun News, there are numerous sellers of parts for the M-1A. 0 -
I have bought a lot of M-14 parts thru the CMP prgram, but for what you are looking for, I would buy a cheap stock from Fred's (See Shotgun News for his ad) and throw the wood away. 0 -

Anything you need they can probably provide for a fair price.0 -
Agree with Peary
Problem is,"Fred is out of town for a while.
I think there is someone doing online orders though.

I know J&T Distributing sells M1A parts but I don't know about their prices since I've never had to purchase parts for that particular rifle.

I bought a M-14 stock for around $15 that comes with the buttplate.
They also have rubber buttplates for cheap.

hitman has a good recommendation. The stocks are used though. Got one and the butt plate was bent and a little rusty. But all in all, one heck of a deal for $15 0
