Wiggins Knives

I have several (more than several, actually) knives made by James Wiggins, Hammond LA. Any idea what they're worth. Seem to be extremely well made. I have regular hunters and some folding hunters. I got them from an estate. Any ideas????

  I am not familiar with Wiggins knives. Most handmade knives usually exceed the quality of knives by the major knife makers. They usually have a higher price tag.If you could find someone who collects Wiggins you should be in good shape. I would give a rough estimate of $50 per knife as a starting point. Alot of collectors are not interseted in handmade knives mainly because of such small quanities made by the knifemaker, but I have found out there is a buyer for everything if you can find him/her. Are you looking to sell these knives? I would take them to the local gun/knife shows in your area and see if you could find someone who is interested in Wiggins knives.

  After my post on Wiggins knives, I got a call from a local collector. Pleasant surprise!!!! He says low end knives go for $200+, high end gets up around $600. Damn, makes me want to cut myself with one (high end of course)!!!!
