It's a blowback design as far as I know. The new model uses aluminum to lighten the overall weight. I have a 230 bought used and so far it seem to be accurate, but I am still testing it for reliability(right ammo for feeding).

The real reason for this is concealed carry or backup or for a lady who can't manage a bigger gun. Some compact 9mm's challenge the 380 for size and you might want to investigate those.

Have you had feeding problems? How many rounds thru the gun? Is it a .32?

    380. A couple of FTFs, probably ammo caused. Need to shoot it some more to determine. SIGs are reliable, but small calibers are more ammo finicky. You also need to keep them real clean and lubricated.
