Got the back only of a nice little 22 pump. Frame is cased, nice wood an slightly curved butt. Only mark is SVG on frame. Been told its a Stevens mod 70. The case is xceptional, 98%+ forend is ribbed an strate tock. Any help appreciated. Thanx

  Trukr - Never seen a case colored Savage or Stevens .22 pump. If you could send me a picture I could most likely help you out. My email is mwalker@pronetisp.net though I am outta town for the next couple days so I won't be able to see til Monday. If no pic available then describe things such as, slide release location, safely, take down ? which side is the screw on, eject port - is it oval or egg shaped, does it have cocking indicator on upper tang .. etc etc etc. Later
