Desert Eagle cases

Extractor marks on brass cases are normal with Desert Eagles....they won't look nice and unmarked like revolver brass. If you have the older style scope mount that clamps to the barrel, sometimes the case hits the mount and will bend the case mouth.

mine chews them up as well. They are not pretty, but they are fine to reload and shoot. It is merely cosmetic damage.

A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.

Yeah, mine does that too; I get a deep gash about 1/4" long right at the case mouth on about half my ejected cases, & a dent about 1/3 of the case legth up from the rim. I reload 'em all, unless the neck splits during my case prep routine. I tend NOT to reload these cases with the hotter load combos, just to be on the safer side, & will usually sideline these cases for my Ruger.
