Good Afternoon Joe: Unfortunately the Beretta 300th Anniversary Model was a complete and Total Flop! No one wanted to pay the price of over $1000.00 when they first came out in the early 1980's...My Wife bought me one for My collection for my Birthday and Only Paid $400.00 plus shipping...It came complete with all the Accouterments in a Styrofoam Container inside a cardboard Box...I kept it around for for the better part of 15 years and finally sold it for $100.00 cash and am EMF .45 Six Gun...and felt I came out on the better end of the deal! If you look close the Barrel bands are cheaply Made and are as thin as can be..The Forearm is what I consider to thin for Field Use and the Few I've seen in shops across the country that have been shot all had cracked Forearms..But...as the man says...Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...If you like it...then thats all that matters...But as for value...Consider yourself lucky the get $400.00 for it....Best...
