Winchester 94 Commemeratives
What is the approximate value of a Winchester 94 Commemerative that is NOT NIB. They appear to be unfired, but handled alot, with some closet or safe rub marks.
The owner has 3: The Canadian Centenial, Golden Spike, and Lone Star.

It's true that they are worth exactly what a standard rifle is worth, but that doesn't stop most shops from asking alot more for them, even when it is obvious that they have been fired. I tried to talk down a pawn shop owner who had a NRA commemorative last year and got nowhere. Anyone else ever have any luck? 0 -
I just bought a NRA centenial in great shape for $200 tax included. Really good shooter that I'm going to take to the woods this fall. My dealer told me it was just a shooter was not worth anymore than a typical 94.

I started to collect them and I bought several. They are TOUGH to get rid of!!!!!!! I don't know what the deal is about "book value". I bought an Alaskan Purchase and a Wyoming Diamond Jubilee from a gun shop NIB together for $1100. The "book value" is $2800. After trying to sell them for a year, I was ecstatic to get what I paid for them. The models you quoted are $250-300 tops in the real world fired just cuz the're kind of cool.
....I never met a gun I didn't like!0 -
NOTPOSTAL, I hate you(not really). The NRA Comm. I saw was going for $550. Shops around here price commemoratives at least $200 over standard guns. Consider yourself lucky. 0
