I am days "though it seems like years away" from purchasing my first AR-15 and I went with a Rock River Arms brand Standard A-2 post ban. I guess my question is.... Does anyone know if it is as good as say a Colt or an Olympic Brand? RRA has a match trigger and they guarntee accuracy 1 MOA at 100 yards. Did i buy the right rifle or should I have just put up the $350 extra to get a Colt or Bushmaster?
Also if anyone lives in the Lincoln NE area and knows of a good outdoor range or a league I can join please let me know.
    thanks

I got a rock river upper for my olympic lower and it is absolutely
great. I was very dissatisfied with the olympic 1" bull barrel upper. I just couldn't get it to close up the group, and it weighed a ton to carry around. The rock river upper ran about 525.00 for the complete flattop upper. It gets 1/2 inch at 100 yds with my own loads.

I say that a lot, so I hope I'm not boring some of you guys.
But I really love this thing.

It is a National Match A4 DCM Upper Half with 20" stainless steel barrel 1:8 twist, NM free float barrel sleeve, NM sights, Therm Mold Handguards.

I got it from a guy named Donnie Pridemore at SableCo.
He does a better price than most and is a police sniper so he knows what accuracy means.
Feel free to email if you want to discuss ARs'
