Blackroses: What you have is a ELGIN ARMS CO. Shotgun; Made by CRESENT for Fred Bifflar & Co., Chicago, Ill. Turn of the Century..1895 to about 1925..Hardware Stores and Mail Order Supplier of inexpensive Arms..
Shotgun, Double and Single Barrel Models.Hammer and Hammerless, Steel and Damascus Barrels..Outside Hammer Model with Steel Barrels Worth $50.00 more that all other Models...My data base says the other 3 Models are Worth $175.00 to $200.00 in Good Shooting Condition..The Single shot is Worth $100.00 in Good Shooting Condition....Hope this helps you....Best....

Thanks for the info captkirk... its really appreciated... As soon as I seen Crescent Arms, I realized I had seen the two names together when I was doing some research for a friend who had an Enders Royal...but I didnt link the two together till I seen your post...The Elgin seems to be higher in value over the Enders... Again.. thank you very much...
