Loose ejector??
Has anyone else had a problem with a loose ejector? Ran across it
once again in a S.A. .45 auto (1911A1 clone). Darn thing mangled
ejected cases real bad to be unuseable. Replaced pin and Locktited
it with #271 locktite and works fine. Also told him to order a new
ejector and pin just in case as this was a temporary trial.
Any ideas?

I've repaired 1911 ejectors that were a little loose by using a tighter pin, but have never run across the problem you are describing to the extent that you describe it. Sounds like a rarity. What make is the pistol--and is the problem ejector an original part? 0
