Can i use teflon grease on my slide?
I have tried teflon grease(magnalube) and military oil on the slide of my .40 springfield. Which is better? The slide moves a lil slower w/the grease but since i have started using the oil i cant see the finish rubbing off inside the rails a lil faster.

I only use Rem Oil on my slides. Just a drop and wipe up access.
I wouldn't use grease as it's too thick for cold weather and collects debris.0 -
i use SYNTEC aod SKICK 50 mix 50/50 for my race gun it works great 0 -
I agree I believe I would stop using the grease,it really isnt necessary. Just use a high quality lubricant and you should be fine.
Good Luck.

Any thoughts on the use of never-sez. I've used this and it seems to work great. 0 -
Not necessary with the new oil/lubricants, ie:Break Free, EEZOX. Why take a chance putting a dirt collector on moving parts.
