Looking for history of 1829 N.STARR

I have a 1829 N.STARR flintlock.Marked Midl Conn 1829 on lock,1829 on barrel.Barrel band,trigger guard,and butt plate all marked XV111
in hand stamped roman numerals,which I believe to be serial no.Also stamped US on top of butt plate.Gun is complete.It has been converted to cap and ball.I haven't been able to track down manufacturer info.
Can anyone help?

  Good morning Sir: In response to your request for information on N.Starr...Here's what My data base has to say...
  
  STARR, N. & Son--Middletown, Conn., Active as Rifle makers from about 1823 to 1845. The firm was originated as sword makers 1798, by Nathan Starr [Sr] who recieved a large government saber and sword contract. His Son, Nathan,Jr., entered the firm about 1798, the name later changed to N.Starr & Son. The starrs contracted on December 9, 1823, for 4,000 Model 1819 rifles at $14.50 each, to be delivered at the rate of 800 per annum from July 1, 1823. March 17, 1840, the firm obtained an additional contract for 6,000 flintlock rifles at $14.50 each, duration five years, at 12,00 per year. Nathan Starr,Jr., died at middletown, on August 31, 1852...
  Fayderman claims that 10,020 were made on the 1823 contract..The stamping is as follows.. U.S./N.STARR & SON in center; (date)/MIDnCON. (in upward arc)at rear stamped vertically: Value Good Condition $2000.00 as Issued in flintlock
  Converted to Percussion...$1000.00 in Good condition
