    Coincidentally, there is an article on the Rem. 32 in the newest (June, 2002) American Rifleman. The photos shown are of the Standard Grade and it is equipped with a butt plate. There were other, more expensive, grades; and perhaps a pad was an option, but the article does not address that fact. Original cost of these guns (Standard Grade) was $75 in 1932, had gone up to $126 by 1939, and were shortly thereafter discontinued for the war effort. The article concludes that almost any Mod. 32 is worth $1,000 today.
