    The barrel length, ga. and chokes are fairly important.

    Indeed. an Ideal Grade Elcee, but you left out way too much. My guess is a 12 gauge... The rest is all up in the air.

    Replacement of the buttplate was a big mistake. Hope you have the old one yet and that there was no trimming or other modification. Any cracks in the wrist area?

    Rust? That's not a good thing on a nice gun. Dings and such mean that the gun has seen some use, perhaps considerable. They won't help the value either.

    "Ideal" is really just a fancy field grade. The use your gun shows is proof of that. In as-new condition this could translate into several hundred dollars difference. In 60% to 70% condition there will be little difference in value.

    My best guess without really knowing the answers to my questions -

    $450.00 to $550.00.
